"Hello!"

Philippa Evans Seed and Root Founder Forest School Llandeilo

I'm Philippa,

the founder and director of Seed + Root. I have worked with children in a variety of settings, including a fantastic Forest School nursery, for over 10 years. I created Seed + Root Nature School to provide an alternative provision and natural sanctuary for children which also helps nature! I love sharing my knowledge and skills with both children and adults but more importantly, I love learning from them.  I strive to cultivate a connection between our community and the natural world, sharing the beauty of it together.  I am a novice grower, enjoy foraging and playing about with natural dyes, and always believe in having a go at new things!

I Home Educate my two young boys. You can usually find us exploring the woods, paddling in streams, or pottering about in the garden.
